Dennis M. Rodin, MD

Dr. Rodin joined the practice in September 2002, after finishing a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Nirschl Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Arlington, Virginia. He received his medical degree from Tufts School of Medicine and completed his orthopaedic residency at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Dr. Rodin is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and has a subspecialty certification in orthopaedic sports medicine.

Dr. Rodin's particular area of expertise is in orthopaedic sports medicine, arthroscopic and open management injuries to the shoulder and knee including rotator cuff pathology, shoulder instability, meniscal injury and ligament reconstruction. His expertise also extends to the management of soft tissue injuries to the elbow, including medial and lateral tennis elbow. He is on staff at Waterbury Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital.

Dr. Rodin is married with two young children. When not in the office, he enjoys bicycling, competing in triathlons, music, and spending time with his family.
