Dr. Loyer joined Waterbury Orthopaedic Associates. P.C. in July 1971 after completing a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Newington Children's Hospital. He received his medical school education and residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Wayne State University. Dr. Loyer brings comprehensive orthopaedic services to the group including fracture management, treatment of knee, shoulder, elbow and hand problems. Dr. Loyer has particular expertise in arthroscopic surgery of the knee. He is on staff at Waterbury Hospital and St. Mary's Hospital. After 37 years of serving the patients of Waterbury Orthopaedic, Dr. Loyer retired on August 31, 2008. |
